Eric joined TK Building & Design in 2018 as the Business Manager, responsible for all business aspects of the Company, and brings over 13 years of experience in business operations management and consulting, internal audit, regulatory compliance and risk management. He has an extensive background in internal audit and risk management best practices, including the development of audit methodologies and approaches to best serve small organizations.
Previously, Eric was a Senior Manager with a national accounting and consulting firm where he helped lead the client delivery and practice management efforts for the Mid-Atlantic region. Prior to his consulting experience, Eric was a Senior Internal Auditor & Adviser at a privately owned, $3.6 billion wholesale technology distribution company where he was tasked with establishing the firm’s first internal audit and compliance function.
Early in his career, the majority of Eric’s experience was in internal and external auditing, where he held positions of increasing responsibility at a large, regional health insurer, and a middle market accounting and consulting firm. His experience covers many industries including banking, financial services, insurance, manufacturing and distribution, retail, healthcare, and government institutions.
Eric earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Susquehanna University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. He holds multiple professional certifications, including Certified Internal Auditor, Certification in Risk Management Assurance, and Certified Construction Auditor.
