The Acre Project

About This Project

This bathroom was outdated and needed a face-lift, but became even more important when the elderly couple could not return to their home until they had a suitable bathroom that they would access. We decided the best option was a zero-entry shower that eliminates the need for any curb or sill, which would be a tripping hazard. A new wall mounted sink with no legs allows a wheel chair to access the bathroom if necessary. Grab bars installed in the shower and at the toilet allow for easier movement throughout the room. Beautiful neutral tile and paint, as well as chrome fixtures give this space a clean and fresh look, while allowing the owners to come back home. Tile was American Olean Bevalo in Dove (walls) and Mist (floors) and Interceramic Interglass Murano in Light Green. Fixtures are from the Moen Voss collection.
