The client wanted to update the overall look of their bathroom and get rid of the soaking tub that was never used and create a better, more open, and contemporary, spa-like space. They also wanted to create a built-in bench area if room allowed. After removing the soaking tub, a large corner was made available to expand the shower into, as well as add a bench seat and storage area. Clear glass panels were used to keep the space looking open and clean. Contemporary fixtures with clean angles were used, as well as linear tiles on the floor. Pebble tiles were used on the shower floor, a rain-shower and hand-shower head were both incorporated into the design, and marble accents were used throughout to create that spa-like feel. The current vanity was in good shape and worked well for their needs, so we decided to refinish it, versus replace it.
