Owning a typical bi-level home can have it’s challenges as the floor plan is often divided and split up in smaller rooms. Our clients goal was to have an open concept upstairs where they can spend time as a family, whether watching TV or in the kitchen cooking. By adding a load bearing beam, we are able to open the kitchen up into the living room and dining room creating one large area for entertaining.
